Three Reasons
to Learn Chinese in Chongqing

Authentic Immersion & Unique Culture

As a less internationally saturated city than Beijing or Shanghai, Chongqing offers a deeply authentic cultural immersion experience. You'll interact with friendly locals in everyday life, experience the unique Bayu culture, and explore rich historical sites like the Dazu Rock Carvings and the Three Gorges without being constantly surrounded by other foreigners. This environment forces you to practice Mandarin constantly, accelerating fluency. The city is also famous for its delicious and spicy hotpot, a must-experience part of the local lifestyle.

Affordable Living Costs

Chongqing's cost of living is significantly lower compared to major coastal cities like Shanghai or Beijing. Rent, food, and public transportation are remarkably inexpensive, which means your budget goes much further. Eating out at local restaurants is a budget-friendly luxury, and a decent apartment can be rented for a fraction of the cost in a larger metropolis. This financial ease allows you to focus on your studies and explore the city without the constant financial pressure of more expensive urban centers.

Dynamic Economic Hub with Future Opportunities

Chongqing is the only municipality directly under the central government in central and western China and is a vital economic, financial, and innovation center. The city is a major transportation and logistics hub, positioned at the heart of national strategies like the "Belt and Road Initiative". Studying here puts you at the forefront of China's rapid inland development and growth, offering unique networking and future employment opportunities for those who can speak Chinese and understand the local business environment.

This program is extremely affordable compared to many other language programs, especially considering everything it offers. The prices make long-term study in China realistic, without sacrificing quality. What I love most is the flexibility to study in different cities. I was able to live one month in each location and experience two amazing cities, Beijing and Shanghai. Each city offers a completely different lifestyle and learning environment, which keeps the experience fresh and motivating. Few programs give you this many choices of cities while remaining so budget-friendly.
